Description
I am a former NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track & Field coach with more than 15 years of experience at the collegiate level. During my coaching career at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Penn State University, and Duke University, I helped develop athletes to achieve at the highest levels of competition, coaching multiple conference champions, All-Americans, and NCAA champions.
My coaching philosophy is built around applying high-performance training principles in a way that helps athletes maximize their potential, push past their limits, and discover what they are truly capable of achieving.
As an athlete, I competed collegiately in Cross Country and Track & Field, earning NCAA Champion and All-American honors. Recently, I took on a new challenge by transitioning to the marathon, finishing my first marathon in 2:55 and just ran 2:45 at the Boston Marathon.
That experience sparked a new passion: exploring what is possible as a masters athlete and continuing to pursue performance into my 40s.
I have now shifted my coaching expertise toward helping runners succeed across all race distances—from the 800m to the marathon. As a 2:45 marathoner at 41 years old and a parent of two young children, I understand firsthand how to build high-level training around the demands of everyday life.
I believe that anything is possible in this sport with the right combination of individualized training, consistency, belief, and a willingness to do the work. My goal is to help athletes unlock their potential and achieve more than they thought possible.
