Description
Coaching Philosophy & What to Expect Most runners don’t fail because they aren’t motivated — they struggle because their training doesn’t fit their real life. Apps and generic plans work for a while, then progress stalls, injuries pop up, or consistency fades. My coaching is built around structure with flexibility. Whether you can train three days a week or six, your plan adapts to your schedule, experience, and goals. Newer runners stay consistent without overload, while experienced athletes scale volume and intensity using clear ranges — so you can push when life allows and pull back when recovery is needed. I coach with a long-term mindset. Training should be sustainable, purposeful, and confidence-building. Every workout has a reason, and every week fits into a bigger picture. We focus on stacking good weeks together, not chasing perfection. When you work with me, you get more than a plan. You get a coach who pays attention. I review your training, listen to your feedback, and adjust as life happens. Communication is clear, feedback is direct, and accountability is built in — so you always know where you stand and what to focus on next. I’ve coached over 1,000 runners across distances from the 5K to the marathon, including 20+ Boston qualifiers, and I bring the same thoughtful approach to every athlete — whether you’re building consistency or chasing a PR. Best fit for runners who want: -Smart, flexible structure that fits real life -Consistent feedback and accountability -Sustainable progress without burnout -Confidence in their training and race-day execution If you’re looking for a coach who combines performance, realism, and long-term development — I’d love to help you train with purpose and get more out of every mile.
