About Emily Kopacz
Hi, my name is Emily Kopacz and I am a V.O2 certified run coach & NCAA NASM certified personal trainer with 7 years of coaching experience.
Description
My passion for running began in 2013 when I joined my high school cross country team. I went on to run Division II Cross Country at Saint Michael's College and was an NCAA representative for my team in 2018. However, during that time, I experienced a slew of injuries due to under-fueling and overtraining. I ended up taking 18 months off from running to heal my body as well as my relationship with food and exercise. Since then, I have completed dozens of 5k's, 4 half marathons, and 3 full marathons. I began coaching middle school cross country during my senior year of college in 2018. I loved it so much that I continued through 2023. During that time I also coached Middle School Track & Field, as well as Nordic Skiing. After leaving education in 2023, I started coaching adult clients full time as a personal trainer. I now coach clients of all backgrounds and abilities and am currently taking on run clients. I take a social-emotional informed approach, prioritizing athletes' physical AND mental-emotional health above everything else. "Emily has made my experience worthwhile and productive. Athlete Requirements
Athletes must be cleared to run by a doctor or physical therapist if recently injured. Athletes must commit to running at least 3 days a week.
