I'm a running coach and a Level 2 CrossFit Coach. My goal with my runners is to teach them about negative splitting, nutrition before, during and after runs/training, and that they are stronger and faster than they know.

I have run since I was 13, and I watched my mom start to take care of herself in her early 40s. I learned that exercise was a part of being healthy.
I fell in love with running, though: I ran in school because I loved feeling fast even when I didn't win. I loved the work and how it made me feel: proud of myself. I loved learning how to run so that I felt like I was flying: on the trails in cross country and later in trail and obstacle races, on the track, or the roads or running paths.
My goal with my athletes is to show them that running is fun and you can do amazing things with it, like run your first 5K or even a marathon. You can learn all kinds of lessons, too, like not running too much to prevent burnout, or not running too fast on a long run, so you can keep going.
My goal is for running to be a part of your life forever.
