Just as “Find Your Fast” carries a unique meaning for each individual, every training plan is customized to fit your lifestyle and based on your specific needs. With varying levels of support and communication, you can choose the option that’s best for you. TESTIMONIALS:
“A year ago, I was in search of a running coach to help me in my quest to conquer lofty goals and qualify for my second Paralympic team. It only took one conversation before I knew Coach Matt was going to be a great fit. Since joining him, I have been able to run paces and complete workouts that once felt insurmountable. Matt's attention to detail and his prompt accessibility by phone and email makes it feel like he is right there coaching me in person. His ability to keep me healthy while making measurable, consistent improvements each week through carefully crafted workouts is what makes Matt’s coaching second to none.” -Chaz D.
"When discussing what great coaches have in common, it often comes back to many of the same attributes. Most describe a coach that is caring, understanding, dedicated, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, supportive, or trusting. However, the select few coaches out there that actually have these attributes and many more are few and far between. Matt Llano is one of those coaches. He is one of the few that goes beyond the extra "mile", pun intended. Coach Llano is someone who is so profoundly good at what he does, after a short period of time you realize just how lucky you are to be one of his athletes. Coach will not only push you to your limits but shatter what you thought your limits were. Coach is not just there for those good miles, but maybe even shines brighter as a coach during the bad ones. From someone who has had good and bad miles there is absolutely NO ONE I would rather have in my corner guiding me to where I hope to go." -Ryan M.
“I have become a stronger and smarter runner since working with Matt. I was coming off an injury and rebuilding towards Boston. He got me to my fastest Boston Marathon yet! As we approach two years together, I have become increasingly more consistent and have run paces I never thought I was capable of. We have also worked through some mental barriers on the way to new PRs! Matt has taken my running to the next level in so many aspects! I couldn’t recommend anyone more invested and caring.” -Amber E.
“I've been working with Matt ever since I got severely sick about 18 months ago. Matt has helped me regain my running/racing confidence by pushing my workouts-but also changing my mentality about training. The best part-Matt is always available through call, text or email. I've had several other coaches before and they were not as accessible as Matt is.Good training plan, good race plan- he's the real deal.” -Brad S.
“I started working with Matt when I wanted to get serious about marathon running. I have been with Matt for just over two years now and in that time he has led me to PRs in multiple distances, including a 14 minute PR in the first marathon I ran under his guidance. I wanted to work with Matt specifically because of his marathon experience and background not only when it comes to races, but with injuries as well. I was getting injured a lot before and I am much stronger now thanks to Matt. I now understand how to train at the proper pace for easy runs and workouts and run the correct mileage per week to avoid the overuse injuries and burnout plateaus I was previously experiencing. Matt has also gone above and beyond to help me nail down my nutrition in training and races. Communication with Matt is fantastic. He is extremely supportive and always makes time in his busy schedule for his athletes. Whether it’s a good race or a bad race, a good run or a bad run, Matt is always there to talk it out as long as you need to come up with a good plan moving forward. Matt not only makes it clear that he wants to help his athletes to reach their goals and beyond, but that he first and foremost wants his athletes to enjoy the process and love the sport at its core of running!” -Jamie R.
“I have been coached by Matt for the past 2+ years. He is very patient and pushes you slowly to get to your goals. I ran my personal best under his guidance and continue to grow as a runner. Matt truly cares about the health and wellbeing of his runners.” -Mike A.
Matt has far exceeded my highest expectations. I appreciate the completely customized weekly training plans as well as our weekly check-in calls and his responsiveness to my ad-hoc text messages. Matt...
