- My coaching expertise comes from learning from the legendary Jack Daniels, as well as the outstanding coaching I received as a University of Oregon Duck and professional runner for Team Run Flagstaff. But most importantly, the expertise and experience I provide is to allow you to control what can become a really fun part of your life, even when most of your life can be chaotic. That's the "Stay Gold" mentality.

- I hail from West Covina, CA where my brother and I were mostly skate rats before running found us the summer before freshman year of high school. Some of the best times of my life being transformed by the idea of my running performances being in service to the team. Fast forward a few years later, we end up at our dream school, the University of Oregon, where we contribute to a couple of NCAA Cross Country titles and a revamp of its running dynasty. After Oregon, I found myself in Flagstaff, AZ training for the Olympic Trials and a move to the marathon. After some years of trial and error (mostly error), I decided to retire and focus on the next phase of my life, which led me to teaching back home in California, and coaching my high school alma mater. Every experience at every level of my running career has had a central theme of trying to be of service to others around me. Whether it was pace work with various individuals or getting credentialed and teaching PE to the next group of youngsters, I knew my job was to facilitate success somehow. So now this brings me to you. Whatever the goal is, I want to help you achieve it in some capacity. This is what I know how to do and it makes me happy when others are successful. Allow me to show you a path.
