Coach King offers online/remote coaching, as well as limited in-person coaching, for middle school, high school, and collegiate xc/t&f student-athletes who are interested in reaching their potential in the sport. Recreational runners pursuing high-level fitness and wellness will also benefit from his coaching.

Coach King is currently accepting middle school, high school, and collegiate xc/t&f student-athletes who are interested in reaching their potential as competitive athletes in the sport. Recreational runners pursuing high-level fitness and wellness are also welcome. Located in the Triangle area in North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill), he offers online/remote coaching, as well as limited in-person coaching.
Experience includes stints as a collegiate coach, club coach, and currently as a high school coach where his teams routinely advance to the NCHSAA state championship. In addition, quite a few of his student-athletes routinely earn all-conference, all-region, and all-state accolades. He also has several former high school student-athletes competing on the collegiate level either on the collegiate team or club team.
An Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine, he also holds Level II certification with the United States Track & Field with a specialization in Endurance Running and is a VDOT Certified Distance Running Coach. Athlete Requirements
Athletes should plan to provide their own hydration and nutrition needs, as well as necessary training equipment such as appropriate running shoes, running attire, and a running watch. A GPS running watch is recommended for competitive athletes but not required.
