I’ve been running since middle school, and for years my training followed a frustrating pattern: build momentum, get injured, start over. The seasons I improved weren’t the ones where I trained the hardest. They were the ones where I stayed healthy long enough to remain consistent. That realization reshaped how I think about training. Prevention isn’t separate from performance — it is performance. The strength work, mobility, mechanics, recovery, and small foundational habits are what allow progress to compound over time. My coaching combines individualized run programming with strength development, movement awareness, and long-term durability. We focus not just on what to do, but why you’re doing it — so you can better understand your body, regulate effort intelligently, and build trust in your ability to train consistently. Alongside my coaching certification, I also bring a background in counseling, which shapes how I approach athlete development. Running is physical, but consistency is behavioral. Most athletes already know how to work hard. The challenge is learning how to train sustainably, recover honestly, and adapt without constantly restarting the cycle. My approach emphasizes: • aerobic development and durability • movement quality and mechanics • pacing and effort awareness • injury reduction and load management • long-term athletic development Whether you’re training for your first marathon, chasing a PR, rebuilding after injury, or trying to create more consistency in your running, coaching is built to adapt to your actual life — not just an ideal training schedule. My goal isn’t just to help you prepare for a race. It’s to help you build the capacity to run well for decades.
