British Athletics - UKA qualified Athletics Coach, Event Group Endurance level (Level 1, 2, 3)
RUNNER BEAN COACHING
UK-based but wouldn’t it be fun to work worldwide?!?
30 years plus running experience. 35+ marathons completed
Description
I have participated in distance running since my high school days until now. I have completed (at the time of writing this ) 38 marathons, many half marathons, 10k's and over sixty 5k's. After years of voluntary coaching and part-time coaching I have committed to full-time coaching at "RUNNER BEAN COACHING."
I am Level 3 (endurance event group) qualified with UK Athletics, which is currently the highest level you can attain through UK Athletics.
I coach individuals and small groups including running camps from beginners to competitive amateurs from distances of 1-mile up to Ultra Marathons. I work with a local running club, undertaking group training for adults and juniors.
My online coaching is all managed via the V.O2 coaching app which I highly recommend.
I always say that coaching individual athletes is an honour and a privilege. I never take it for granted. Running can be the most important thing in peoples lives (apart from family). Being trusted to support them in their running is, as I say, a 'privilege'.
Here are a few testimonials I have received:
"We did it! 🙌 2:58:58. 1:29 half way so not quite negative, but all felt comfortable - thank you!" - John F at Manchester Half
"Hi Ian, Delighted with the first month, couldn’t be happier. One of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Thank you!" - Kim B
"Ian, I can't tell you how pleased I was with the race today. I finished ahead of my target time, followed the race plan to the letter, and it felt great. I simply could not have done this without your support. Thank you so much." - Lesley S at the Keyworth Half Marathon
"What a great year of running you’ve got me through!!!" - Tess K
