Description
Jared has been coaching runners and triathletes since 2010. As an avid runner himself, Jared wants to impart his passion for becoming a strong and healthy runner for life (not just for that next race).
Jared balances being a full-time husband and father with his careers as a full-time firefighter, registered physiotherapist and coach. As a physio he specializes in working with runners of all distances; keeping them healthy and making them stronger for the miles ahead. As a coach he has worked with runners of all levels and abilities but particularly enjoys coaching the half marathon, marathon and ultra distances.
Jared has taken numerous continuing education courses tailored to working with runners and endurance athletes. As a VDOT Certified distance running coach he is excited to help you with your journey towards a love affair with running.
It’s about getting out the door and running when the rest of the world is only dreaming about having the passion that you need to live each and every day with.
Athlete Requirements
Ability to commit to running 4-7x/week.
Consistent strength training with access to weights or a gym.
Strong legs, stronger mind and heart.
