About Joseph Winwood
Born in Pittsburgh, PA. Currently in Dallas, TX. Founded Southernmost Running Company in Key West, FL. I am an ultradistance runner looking to help others hit their running goals. I have a passion for helping runners new to the sport, or new to a certain distance, gain confidence and experience through training. Everyone can run. We will work together to help you achieve your goals. As an LGBTQ+ runner, I want to make sure that everyone has a safe space for training to allow them to be their best on race day.
Description
I re-found running in my mid-30s training with and crewing my husband on his first 50km race at the Keys100 and fell back in love with the sport! After running Disney's Dopey as my first chipped races, I expanded my focus to ultra distance running and learning all there is about training and improving. I enjoy pacing half, full and ultramarathons to help others hit their goals on race day and coaching has helped me to expand and support my commitment to the running community.
