Description
Nelle first enjoyed victory as a state champion in the 4x400 team in 7th grade. Team work has also been a driving motivator for Nelle, and her dedication to that is what excites her most about coaching.
Nelle took quite a long hiatus from running after battling some largely unexplained joint injuries, returned after her second child was born to train for her first half marathon. During that process, she realized how incredible the running community is alongside the therapeutic nature that running provides the practitioner. After a couple of marathons and ultras, a hidden chronic infection of Lyme disease among other troubling diagnoses served as a wake-up call that pushing harder and harder can't and won't be the way to make progress and maintain a healthy, vibrant life. Enter: run coaching, TRX training, health coaching, loads of books, and a ton of healing.
Many years have been spent healing, learning, and rebuilding her body and mind. From gaining, then losing weight, to reading labels, to smashing records, it all comes from expressing gratitude, recognizing how the body communicates with our brains, and caressing the relationship our internal self-talk has on physical manifestation.
