Description
Nelle’s love for running began in 7th grade, that love resulting in multiple all-state performances, a state champion title, and a team state championship win. Since then, her running and healthy journey has been anything but linear. After stepping away from the sport due to a series of unexplained injuries, she returned post-pregnancy to train for her first half marathon. That comeback sparked not only a passion for performance—but a deeper appreciation for the healing power of running and the community it builds. Through marathons, ultras, and a difficult battle with persisting Lyme disease and co-infections, Nelle learned firsthand that true progress isn’t just about pushing harder. It’s about listening to your body, honoring its needs, and training with intention. This realization shaped her holistic approach to coaching, integrating strength training,, mobility work, health/nutrition coaching, and mindset practices rooted in self-compassion and gratitude. From navigating setbacks to breaking personal records, Nelle brings deep empathy and expertise to every athlete she works with—because she’s been there too. Nelle's personal records post-illness: -Mile: 5:22 -2 Mile: 12:20 -5K: 19:17 -10K: 39:45 -10 mile: 1:07:00 -Half: 1:28:33 -Marathon: 3:04:05 and many Boston qualifying marathons With over 30 marathons and ultras completed—including a 2nd place finish at Rim to River 100 miler and a 3rd place finish at the Bull Run 50 Miler—Nelle knows what it means and requires to endure, adapt, and rise.
