As a coach and runner myself, I believe in the power of an individualized training plan. The plan should fit the athlete, not the other way around. That's why I build custom plans for my clients. In addition to the plan itself, which is uploaded to your personal calendar on the V.O2 platform, you'll get a cycle plan that shows you the bigger picture and long term plan, as well as email support if you have any questions! Within the V.O2 training calendar, you can move and edit sessions, see all the details for upcoming and past workouts, as well as the exact pace to train at. Let's go!
Description
I'm a runner and coach based in Norway. I'm passionate about the sport of running and personally dream of reaching my potential as an athlete through hard work and consistency over time. Running has always been a part of my life, but it was only after I turned 30 that I decided to take my training to the next level. Now I train approximately 400 hours per year, and I'm definitely looking to increase that going forward. As a child and teenager I was active and competitive in the martial art of Taekwon-Do, where I also have coaching experience as a black belt instructor. These days I work as a running coach online, personal trainier for some local athletes and coach kids and teenagers at the local athletics club. I also have a YouTube channel (Lone Endurance) about...you guessed it...running! As a so-called "running geek" interested in all things running and endurance training, I've informally studied exercise physiology for several years now through books, online lectures, coaching courses and scientific publications. I consider myself knowledgable enough to give quality advice to runners of all levels, even though I'm obviously still learning and always will be. My coaching philosophy is simple: There's always room for improvement. Gains can be had at any age and at any level. With desire to grow and a willingness to work, the sky is the limit. Put in the work, stay consistent and trust the process. If you let me, I'll do my best to assist you in that process through providing you with expert advice and objective analysis of you training. Together we'll devise a plan that will take you from where you are now, to where you want to go. Whatever that means for you. Are you ready to take your running to the next level?
